Wise men from the East followed a star that led them to the promised king, Jesus, so that they could worship him. We can follow signs that lead us to Jesus and worship him still today.
Wise men from the east came to Jerusalem and said, "Where is the child born to be the king of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to worship him." (Matthew 2:1-2, CEV)
When the men went into the house and saw the child with Mary, his mother, they knelt down and worshipped him. (Matthew 2:11, CEV)
Children will have the opportunity to:

discover the wonder expressed by the wise men when they found Jesus and experience moments of wonder as they learn about and remember the story;
examine ways that God continues to offer signs that lead us to Jesus;
learn about the gifts the wise men offered to Jesus as a form of worship and explore ways we can worship Jesus today, including offering our gifts;
connect the story of the wise men with the celebration of Epiphany.
